Lymphatic Drainage
A calming add-on to support circulation, detox, and whole-body skin health.
How your body moves fluid, manages inflammation, and responds to stress plays a huge role in how your skin looks and feels.
Lymphatic Drainage (also know as Compression Therapy) is a beautiful, relaxing add-on treatment that supports your lymphatic system and circulation. It’s designed to help your body feel lighter, less puffy, and more balanced, while also supporting your skin from the inside out.
This treatment is perfect as an add-on to Skin Health Facials or LED Light Therapy sessions.
What is Compression Therapy?
Compression Therapy is a gentle, non-invasive treatment that uses controlled air pressure to rhythmically compress and release the legs. This movement helps stimulate the lymphatic system and encourages the natural flow of lymphatic fluid through the body.
Your lymphatic system plays a key role in detoxification, inflammation control, and immune health. When it becomes sluggish, you might notice fluid retention, puffiness, a heavy feeling in the body, or congestion showing up in the skin.
By supporting lymphatic drainage, compression therapy helps your body move excess fluid and waste more efficiently, which can have a really positive knock-on effect for both your skin and overall wellbeing.
What to Expect During Your Treatment
During your session, you’ll lie back comfortably while air compression boots are fitted to your legs. The boots gently inflate and deflate in a slow, rhythmic sequence, creating a wave-like pressure that feels soothing and grounding.
The pressure is always adjusted to suit you and should never feel uncomfortable. Most clients describe it as deeply relaxing, with many noticing they feel lighter and more at ease afterwards.
There’s no downtime, and you can head straight back to your day feeling refreshed.
Lymphatic Drainage FAQs
What is Compression Therapy used for?
I use Compression Therapy to help support lymphatic drainage and circulation. In simple terms, it helps your body move fluid a bit more efficiently, which can make such a difference if you’re feeling puffy, heavy, or just a bit sluggish. The lymphatic system does a lot behind the scenes, but it needs movement and support to work well. Compression Therapy gives it that gentle nudge, which is why so many people leave feeling lighter and more comfortable in their body.
What do you mean by lymphatic drainage?
Your lymphatic system is basically your body’s clean-up system. It helps move waste, excess fluid, and toxins away so your body can process and clear them properly. When things slow down, you might notice puffiness, fluid retention, or inflammation. Sometimes that even shows up in the skin as congestion or dullness. Supporting lymphatic drainage helps everything flow a bit better, which is why it can feel so good afterwards.
Does this actually help skin health too?
Yes, it really can. Skin doesn’t exist in isolation, and when the body is holding onto fluid or dealing with inflammation, it often shows up in the skin. By supporting lymphatic flow, the body can clear congestion more efficiently. Over time, this can help calm inflammation and support clearer, happier skin. That’s why I love adding Compression Therapy alongside facials or LED treatments.
What does the treatment feel like?
Most people find it incredibly relaxing. It feels like a gentle, rhythmic squeeze moving up your legs. Nothing sharp or uncomfortable at all. I always adjust the pressure to suit you, and it’s one of those treatments where people really switch off and just breathe for a bit.
Is there any downtime afterwards?
Nope, none at all. You can head straight back to your day afterwards. Some people feel lighter or more relaxed straight away, others just notice they’ve had a really nice moment to slow down.
Who is this best suited for?
It’s lovely if you deal with puffiness, fluid retention, inflammation, or if you’re feeling stressed and run down. It’s also great if you’re just wanting to support your body and skin a bit more gently and holistically.
